Deference is a decentralized marketplace for LLM credits on Ethereum. Holders of the native DEFERENCE token claim INFERENCE tokens generated from pool trading fees, which can be spent to run over 400 AI models (including Claude, GPT, and Gemini) via a single API key, or sold on an open order book. The project launched on October 20, 2026, and has already completed its first two fee-funded flushes (Payouts 1 and 2), distributing over 3,730 INFERENCE tokens to holders. The team also shipped 'Deference Incognito' on October 20, integrating Phala Network's confidential hardware to seal model call memory.
